Fundamental Sciences runs courses in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Communication in the Sciences. The knowledge gained, experienced, and practiced is applied with judgment to develop ways to utilize economically the materials and the forces of nature for the benefit of mankind. The guidelines are related to the extent to which a program develops the ability to apply pertinent knowledge to the practice of engineering in an effective and professional manner.
PROFILE OF STUDENTS
Students admitted into HTTTC by competitive entrance examinations or study of files and private candidates whose respective programs in HTTTC require.
Have a wide variety of employment options that utilize important analytical thinking and their broad scientific background.
-A capability to delineate and solve in a practical way the problems of society that are susceptible to engineering treatment
-A sensitivity to the socially-related technical problems which confront the profession
-An understanding of the ethical characteristics of the engineering profession and practice
-An understanding of the engineer’s responsibility to protect both occupational, public health and safety
-An ability to maintain professional competence through life-long learning
-An ability to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems
-An ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams
-An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data
-An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering
